To enquire about a vinyl record in India, share the artist or film, album, city or PIN code, budget and edition preference. Before paying, confirm the exact release, condition, total charges and delivery arrangements.
Choose the album and the songs you want
Begin with the music, not just the cover. An album, a film EP and a singer compilation can contain different selections. For film music, send the film and song names; for pop, send the artist and album. A label photo or reference link helps clarify a particular version. You can request an unlisted title, but an enquiry does not establish that a vinyl release exists or is available.
Compare new and used copies
Ask for the disc and sleeve condition separately. For used records, find out whether the copy was played through and whether the seller heard clicks, skips or other problems. A photograph cannot fully demonstrate playback. For a sealed copy, confirm the release and the seller’s process if a manufacturing defect is found after opening.
Check the pressing and format
Confirm the catalogue number, disc count, speed and track list. If a specific pressing matters, ask for both sides’ runout markings and label photos. Colour or a barcode alone may not identify an edition. An original pressing is not automatically a better listening copy than a reissue; compare the particular releases and their condition.
Compare the total delivered price
Tell the seller your maximum total budget and whether other editions or used copies are acceptable. Ask for all charges and a delivery estimate for your PIN code before agreeing.
